Save game request

I posted in the Saved Game Market a couple of days ago, but it doesn't look like that thread has been active in a long time. I thought I'd post here, and if that's a no-no, someone please feel free to correct me.

Looking for an EE savegame, Act I, after the Beast is dead (or in the cave, before the battle has begun). Later in Act I is fine, beginning of Ch. 2 also okay. No matter what I do (and I have spent HOURS working on this), the game crashes before loading the battle with the Beast, so the save must follow that load.

My biggest preference would be that the game uses the FCR mod, but this isn't absolutely essential. If no FCR, Hard difficulty would be great.

My game choices have been: Frightener, siding with the Scoia'tael (though this isn't that important), and saving Abigail. I've done all side quests.

I've registered the game, but I'm not sure what in my profile indicates that, or whether it's important given the lack of DRM on the EE version.

Thanks very much!

Here you go...
It may be worth holding off for a while in case anyone has a better fit, but this is one.

Start of Chapter 2. Hard mode. Supported the elves, saved Abigail, I think I did Frightener but wouldn't swear to it, Doesn't use FCR. Side quests done.

Another option for you, to give an exact fit, would be to upload your pre-Beast fight and see if anyone can get past the crash point for you and send it back. If the problem is something in your savegame, it won't be possible, but if it's something else it may work.

I have a lot of FCR-savegames (on insane) which meet your conditions, one of them starting directly before the battle with the beast (Geralt is well prepared). But it's not the latest FCR-version; don't know if the savegames are compatible with the actual version.

If you want to try give me an email-address.

Hello, i'm bumping this because well, i have the same request.

Just got my new PC setup but it seems that i lost my The Witcher savegames :(

If i remember correctly, i was on chapter 2, in the swamp trying to get into some tower?? , i think :s

Does anyone have a savegame close to that? I think i used to have FCR on but i don't really care, i just want to finish the game before i get started on TheWitcher 2 :)

You spend most of Chapter 2 trying to get into that tower ;), so that doesn't really tell us where in Chapter 2 you were.

Chapter 2 is pretty complicated, and all the threads are interwoven, so if it's been awhile since you were playing it, you might want to start Chapter 2 from the beginning.

The situation you're in at the beginning of Chapter 2 starts at the very end of Chapter 1; I have a saved game from that point here.

Thanks for the save :)

You're welcome. I don't remember what difficulty level that save is, but if you want a different difficulty level, you can use Flash's wonderful Difficulty Potions Mod.
