Hi.. I have to buy a new notebook and I am undecided.. Could you tell me, for The Witcher 2, if is best an AMD Radeon HD6770M or a NVIDIA GeForce GT525M?

Neither will play the game really well. The HD6770M is the better choice.

6770M = underclocked 6670 (Turks XT, 480 shaders, will play the game acceptably if you don't push the resolution or settings)

525M = underclocked GT 430 (GF108, 96 shaders, may play the game on low resolution and low settings, may just be endlessly frustrating)

Although you can't equate nVidia and AMD shaders directly, a 480-shader AMD card is about the equal of a 192-shader nVidia card.

If you want an AMD GPU, the 6770M is about the minimum decent choice.

If you want an nVidia GPU, look for at least a GF106 chip (GT 445M, GT 555M) or better instead.

Thanks for your answer.. I have to buy a new notebook tomorrow and I haven't too much money, therefore I have seen an Hp Dv6-6169SL, with the AMD card, and a Toshiba L7551DW, with the GeForce. I have played the game a lot, with an AMD card in the notebook of my sister, therefore I think that the first choice is better but, the second notebook has more ram and, because I don't know the GeForce, I am undecided.. Thanks
