Dice Poker

The only trick i see is to save before every poker match . I didn`t use to but after losing 1000 orens and still not win a match it got rather disheartening . I don`t think there is any order that will improve your chance of winning but like real life the odds are stacked against you . Some times you can win right off and there are times you can`t win at all . The only thing i can tell you would be to bet the highest amount of orens every time . Oh and
"may the force be with you" and Good Luck .

The dice poker quest is set up such that you play novices at first, then professionals, then sharpers. You're pretty much prevented from playing anybody who's out of your league, so if you CAN play with someone, it's okay to do so. You'll still lose a lot. I play just enough to pass the quest, though some people swear by dice poker as a way of making money. I'm assuming that these are folks who dislike reloading a lot less than I do.
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.
I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.
I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

This is pretty much it.
But, if you're looking for tips, I can provide a few.
If you roll two 2 of a kind's (2 sets of the same numbered dice), and your opponent has a 2 of a kind, I'd suggest rolling the lowest of your pairs to try and get 3 of a kind, therefore winning you the game. (This does not always work, so use it cautiously)
This can also be used if you have 2 of a kind, and your opponent has two 2 of a kind's. You can try to roll the other 3 dice to try and get 3 of a kind (3 of the same #'d dice), which beats two 2 of a kinds.
Also, if you roll a full house (5 same numbered dice, 1,2,3,4,5, or 2,3,4,5,6) on your first roll, and you're forced to roll again, you don't need to select any dice. It took my a while to figure this out, and a lot of times I'd just roll the dice again, and lose.
I hope this helps!
