I'm neutral and cannot enter the crypt in chapter 5. I'm suposed to enter through the crypt by the Manor but can't gain entry. I also tried the cave and the shaft and still can't get in.

Have you dispensed with ALL enemies and talked with whoever shows up to help you outside the manor . As many times as i`ve played this and right now i can`t remember who shows up when neutral .

Do you mean the crypt beneath the castle? Here's a link that explain how the enter it in neutral path http://witcher.wikia...et_Revenge#Map. Scroll at the bottom of the page and take a look at the maps. Basically you should follow Triss.
