Hello,

how do I fight the Scoiatel in the bank?

I'm doing the order path, so I fight with Siegfried. He's pathetic, falls down after three hits (not unlike me actually)

I'm using Cinfried Oil on my blade, have a dozen Samums in my slots, Swallow, Blizzard and Igni with Incineration (although I never see anyone burning)

The stairs trick doesn't work here (I'm not in the vault but upstairs, where the conversation with Ren Grouver happens) because of the two Archers.

Siegfried is already down as soon as I say "Defend yourself". Then I drop a Samum, kill Ren (because he's in front of me) but as soon as the Coup de Grace animation is over I've already been hit by at least two elfs and both archers and my health is roughly at 25%. And most of the time I'm dead, before I can even touch one of the archers.

Dropping another Samum sometimes works but after that I'm always dead...

So, what can I do?

The most important advice: Keep moving.

Think of Quen: Quen allows you some moments of god mode, even without investing talents. Using Igni it looks like that:



If you keep moving (and use Quen), it's possible to manage the threat even with rudimental swordfighting abilities (takes some time):
