Funny how a macro about misogyny is right below the one where the sorceresses are called "bitches"...

LOL @ Dragon Age one tho, I'll remember that one every time I see that prisoner XD

And somehow I think Saskia would eat Skyrim dragons for breakfast :P Well, actually, I felt really bad about killing dragons in Skyrim, it's hard for me to do it after TW2 :C ›››

BTw, I consider myself a feminist, if you can believe it.. (or if such thing is possible, a male feminist... :whatthe: ).

But I find hard to convey those thoughts with humor. Maybe because the Witcher (in spite of our denial) is really a misoginistic game? :harhar:
You can see it in "Loathsome" (see above), the message is really straightforward and "preachy", not very subtle... While my favourite kind of humor is when the text contradicts the image or theres a twist (like in "christmas decorations").

"Bitches" actually has a well known radical feminist tagline, used all around the world. And it's no coincidence that the radical feminists also champion and vindicate the figure of the witch, cause witches certainly defied patriarchal society and values - bitches=>witches, it's all part of my secret code :P -

"Fangirl" is not supposed to be a "gender-joke" or a jab against female gamers. Its just a representation of how quickly gamers (of any gender) can derail a discussion or resort to any point to win an argument. It happens that the dragon is a... SPOILER!!... girl. :P

Ah, I meant no ill with my comment, I genuinely found it ironic. And yes, you can be a feminist even if you're a guy :P Definitions vary, for some feminism is bad, for others it's good. Much like the word "bitch", I guess.

Nah, I don't think the Witcher games are misogynistic. In fact, I think TW2 has some really interesting feminist undertones, but they're very subtle. As far as portrayal of women goes, my only problem is that all girls had been put through the "male gaze" filter visually, but hey. They're well-written characters.

Aw, but 'fangirl' has a male equivalent - 'fanboy'. In fact, 'fanboy' seems to be used in negative context almost exclusively, while fangirl means someone who's a little too obsessed with a certain subject. But it's not always negative. That's my observation, at least, I could be wrong.

Oh, those complicated words, how do they work :<

Well I'm no feminist and no "male-ist" (is there this word?) but I found the "Bitches" pic very funny and ironicly feminist :P

You and Jackie are truly making my days :flowers:

Hmm... I would hire him, honestely. Does he also kill sticky annoying chicks, buzzing around your own man and lover? Coz I could use one...

Meh, it was someone who posted here that he thought the elves reminded him of indians, and then that image pooped up and one thing lead to another.

Glad you liked the others. :)
