I like how they expand on the story of Yennifer and other stuff in EE cut scene between the chapters. It does fill in some blanks. I won't say much in case people haven't played or gotten the EE yet. Sort of wished it would have been in the original but I can live with it. (Mutters about having to go through the prologue again!)

I'm still leaning toward Triss in the Game. Got to get around to reading The Last Wish.

I love the witcher said:

If that woman is another sorceress, it will be cool but I remeber almost at the end of the witcher 2 not the EE, Shilard (the Nilfgaard's Ambassador)saying the two Nilfgardian sorceress were punished. ›››

I'm still in 2nd chpter of my first run through the game, havn't finished the game yet, so I didn't know... but if he told the truth, that is a real pity, I liked both ladies :/

come on people, everybody know that Geralt is not exactly a champion of monogamous relationships.

I haven't read the books myself and yes this would be a very tough decision for me.

For what I can tell from the movie/tv series that I saw and heard about Yen,Geralt really loved her like no other.

The work that will have to be involved to make us care for her more than Triss(that I personally romanced since the first game) will be quite a feat if they make her a romanceable character in Witcher 3(which most likely will happen).

In chapter 3 yeah he said something like that...BUT he said the name of both sorceresses and Yen was not on that list...

So no problem!

I much prefer Triss, actually I prefer pretty much every woman Geralt has met to Yennefer. People in game, as well as in books, keep telling him that they don't know what he sees in her. However I doubt we will have much of a choice in TW3, as he already made his long ago, unless something happens to Yen...

There will probably be an epic cat fight between Triss and Yen in TW3 :) And I would think Geralt would still have to choose. Like I wrote before the old Geralt isn't our Geralt. And love changes and people change as well. So nothing is written unless it is the book(s) :)

Actually, I didn't mean Yen, but two nilfgaardian sorceresses who appear in books, very interesting characters :) Maybe they were punished yet still alive? But knowing Emhyr attitude towards magicians its higlhy impossible.. :(

On the other hand - Yennefer in "Last Wish" does not show her true self... you get to know her better later in books...

One of them is dead.

I hope that personality of Yenefer will be changed a little bit. Just like they changed a little bit Triss. Personally I didn't like Yenefer in books. She was so damn annoying.

Why would he have to choose again?

Good question, he has already made his choice.Geralt acts, sounds and even drinks like he used to. He is the same old Geralt, and that's why we love him.

I'm saying that what we know about Triss is more than we know about Yennifer. And in TW3 we will probably learn more about Yennifer. I'm just saying that right now Triss is the Main Love interest of Geralt (And I'm talking about our Geralt not the books but the Geralt we have shaped) But that might change when we know more about Yennifer but then again nothing might change. And it is hinted or others have suggested there is going to be an battle between Triss and Yennifer in TW3. Again I could be wrong. But as of right now Triss is the one I would choose and it would be hard for me to choose Yennifer game wise or from what others have said in the book.

I hope I'm making sense.

But Geralt does not come across as monogamous and Triss clearly has no problem with it.
While another sorceress might be another thing, I dont see it as it being an insurmountable problem by necessity or one that requires monogamy.

Ah I misunderstood. Ignore my posting then. I'd thought it was something else that was being asked :) And I agree Geralt isn't exactly a monogamous man hehe.

I bet she will be a bit different, but we'll see. I used to prefer Yen over Triss while reading, though, you're right, T. has changed in game and it was a positive change...
BTW, only one character in books was really, really annoying for me and it was Ciri - bloede pest, how that girl got on my nerves.....

Triss. My Geralt has resisted banging the best ass from Temeria to Loc Muinne for her, he's told her he loves her, and went through hell and back finding a rose of rememberance because he gave the one he had to her. He slaughtered the Nilfgaardian camp. Risked his life. Forgot his ideals, and the reason why he fought for Saskia just to be with HER. Yen is but a memory, he's a new man now.

Geralt from the books would've gone with Dandelion to the whore house xD

Naaah... :P

I thought the same. It's awkward since she drives so much of the plot, but I spent most of the saga wondering why all of the cool characters around her tolerated her presence. I prefer Triss to Yennefer, but I'll take Yennefer over Ciri any day. Queen Calanthe was awesome, though.

It would have to be Yennefer.

I see Triss as the jump-off, she's there to keep Geralt from getting too lonely, but she knows she's not gonna keep him forever. It's a very sad position she's in, but I guess she finds it worth it regardless.

I didn't start to read "Baptism of Fire" yet (but I've read "The Last Wish" and the next two books), but I find Yennefer a bit annoying sometimes. I really have the feeling that Geralt loves Yennefer much more than Yennefer loves Geralt... And I feel like it's pretty much the opposite with Triss.
So if I have to choose in TW3, I would go for Triss (and I find her much nicer than Yennefer that can really be a bitch sometimes).

I'm sure there will be a choice in one way or another in TW3 when it comes down to it. If there is, I'll be choosing Triss unless she completely screws Geralt over.
