I think that's the whole point of the story...

Every true Witcher fan keeps Witcher 1 installed at all times It's as natural as installing motherboard or GPU drivers.
But ot, have to give this a go at some point. Kudos to CDPR for appreciating the community's effort.

This adventure was released two days before The Witcher 2 came out, so although the story piggybacks onto the events of The Witcher 1 (and of "The Price of Neutrality,") the story is not intended to coordinate with The Witcher 2.
Yes, there was a "Medical Problems 1;" you can find it here.
Yes, witchers ARE usually immune to disease. As Kindo says, that's the point of this story -- what weird thing is going on that they got this disease? Hint:
I hope you will enjoy the game!

It really IS impressive piece of work considering it was practically a single person who put it together.
I like MP1 more - it's very detective-like and reminded me of the investigation in chapter 2 of TW1. MP2 is a bit more straightforward and you don't really have to think to finish it.
All in all, I can definitely recommend it. Start with MP1 though; get it here.
