There is a hut on the island, accessible through the river, near to the troll. On this island there is a hut with a couple bandits nearby. Is there any quest related to this place or its just there to explore and have some fight?

Troll trouble is related. If you kill Dimitri, who has killed the bridge-troll's wife, you'll get the bandit hideout key. It will open the door of the hut.
More info at the wiki.
Through these fields of destruction...Baptisms of fire
I've witnessed all your suffering...As the battle raged higher
And though they did hurt me so bad...In the fear and alarm
You did not desert me...My brothers in arms

Thanks, I'll replay the game once again for sure, when 2.0 will be released.

While there is no such quest(maybe it was omitted from the final game?) it's worth going to the area with the hut because the hut contains the second-best steel sword in Act 1: the Superb Cutlass. It's for those who didn't craft Jagged Blade or didn't have enough Endrega Fangs.

Though you should go during the daytime because in the night that area is filled with drowners, who are for some reason a lot tougher and harder to kill than in the first game.

That sounds like a good reason for going at night :)

There are also some fun wraiths at night that jump you unexpectedly.
