PM Hello there, fellow witchers!
So, I was doing the troll trouble sidequest, following the strategy guide that came with the premium edition of the game, and I get to the part that I need to talk to Sile. The big problem being, I can't talk to her! I get to her room, she's there, but there is no option to talk to her. It seems I need to talk to her in order to finish the Kayran contract aswell, so it would seem as if I'm pretty much screwed :s
Any suggestions?

Game breaking Troll Trouble?

Sile has nothing to do with the Troll contract but only the Kayran missions.
Which part of these three Kayran missions are you doing?
The Kayran(first mission)
The Kayran: The Matter of Price (second mission)
The Kayran: Ostmurk (third mission)
Killing the Kayran completes all missions.
You only need to talk to Sile on a few things when she mentions you need to talk to the Merchant and Cedric.
First thing there's an attack on the jetty you go there and talk to Sile and Triss with an injured man on the jetty.
Sile will mention you must talk to the merchant on the docks about the kayran contract.
After meeting 'The Merchant' you can negotiate the price of the contract.
Then you can meet Sile in her room and talk doing some research on the Kayran (which is the Matter of price mission) and she will say talk to Cedric.
I think this starts the Matter of price mission where you and Triss talk to Cedric who tells you to do research on the Kayran lair.
You then must meet Triss in the forest and head towards the shipwreck to where the monster's lair is.
After doing some research on the eggs you need to find an antidote to the kayran poison which is...you guess it 'Ostmurk'.
Find Ostmurk and then if you received the diagram for mongoose potion use Ostmurk to make the potion.
Go to Sile with the antidote potion and say your ready to take on the Kayran.
On the way to the lair before fighting the Kayran don't forget to drink the mongoose potion along with any other potion you like.
Then you fight the Kayran.
I hope this helps you, but you don't really say how you broke the game or what part of the Kayran mission your up too.

For Troll Trouble, I suggest you move straight on to the next step if you're following the game guide. It isn't necessary to speak to Sile (I never have).
As far as the Kayran contract is concerned, have you done all of the preparations for it yet? It could just be that something isn't ready yet.

Some people have had trouble getting the Kayran quest to start because "Stringing up Sods" wasn't completed. You have to go to the tavern and talk to your friends; the Kayran quest doesn't start until the citizen comes in yelling something about a monster in the harbor. From there, you can follow MaskedReaper's instructions above to advance the quest.
