Can someone please walk me through how I get around Loredos house? I've had several attempts allready, but I keep getting cought by the final guard; hence failing the quest.

Roche distracts the first guard. You sneak around the rock to come up behind the second guard. For the third guard, wait until he turns to take a piss against the wall, then sneak up behind him.

Take the remaining guards on the way to the first-floor window and back the same way: be patient, stay concealed; if you can't avoid them, get behind them and stun.

I actually like this little mission but it can be frustrating when you get caught as you fail the mission.
You have to reload a save game and restart the mission again just so you can get through it.
Once you knock out the first two guards, then climb the rocks it gets a little easier but sometimes you can get a little inpatient and get caught but it all requires patience and watching the guards routine.
It's best to run up behind as they're walking away, then knock them out.

Goodthing about this mission is that you can get the robust silver sword diagram in one of the crates, which is the best silver sword for this part of ACT I in general.

You also can even spy and listen to Sile talking to Loredo when you climb up the ladder.
There's a trap door there too but I don't know if you can get a key to it.

You can get the superb silver sword in Act I, which is better.

AH yeah I forgot about that one...thanks for the heads up.
But you STILL need to make a decent silver sword at the start of ACT I since you don't have a silver sword to begin with so Robust Silver sword is the one to get first 'before' you complete any of the other quests to get superb diagram as a reward.

Once superb comes available it best to upgrade straight to it so you can fight the rest of ACT I with a slightly more powerful silver sword.
Don't go into the forest with just steel sword so you can battle it out just for a superb silver sword...it's suicide.
I've once tried going through the forest with just a steel sword and I didn't last very long...the nekkers killed me in seconds HAHA. :dead:

If you imported a TW1 save, you should have Aerondight, which is at least as good as the Robust Silver Sword.

If you didn't, then yes, getting the Robust Silver Sword early is a big win.
