So there I was, playing "Sharp or Dull?" with some Drowners near the bandit hideout, when all of the sudden I see some elf corpses hanging in a tree. I go investigate, all sneaky like, when this wraith named Nia pops out and attacks me.

Now I know there's a stigma against hitting the ladies, but in my lifetime I've learned that if an undead or Colombian lady comes at you with a knife, you'd best smack the crazy right out of her head as quickly as possible.

In all seriousness, who is this Nia? I've been unable to find anything about her online and I didn't get any journal entries after the fight. Am I the only one to run across this?

This one surprised the hell out of me the first time it happened. I didn't react fast enough, and died very quickly.

Assumption: Ghost of one of the hanging corpses. There are actually several of them, all with individual names, so you may meet a different one if you go back. Otherwise, they don't seem to have any special relevance.

Ah yes I got attacked by her.
It's just ghosts of victims.

The ghosts come out of there bodies when you go near.

I got one with Rhianna or something like that. But is it a wraith or a bruxa? These wraiths look a lot like the bruxa picture from the journal.
Through these fields of destruction...Baptisms of fire
I've witnessed all your suffering...As the battle raged higher
And though they did hurt me so bad...In the fear and alarm
You did not desert me...My brothers in arms
