Perhaps there are 53 traps, but if you are using a medallion and walk on daylight, you have better chances. It was near Flotsam, near some tall trees with overgrown bushes. It doesn't make any difference. I think you can't get trapped into a trap yourself, or you don't get the ability.

I also didn't get executioner ability, which is a damn shame, because I did all like I was supposed to do.

Other than that, I am fine and I will be waiting for patch 2.0

Don't bother with these abilities, they hardly make any difference, skill is what matters the most.
