Really strange... The first time I tried, I got the "Do you think I'm a whore?" and replied with "Yes" - which lead to killing Ramsmeat in the end. The 2nd time I tried, I said "no" and was able to prove him innocent (before going to the cemetary or doing the autopsy, iirc). And now I don't even get the whole "Do you think I'm a whore?" line at all... Seems like I'm missing something here.

Old topic, but thought I would mention, you can prove ramsmeat innocent even if you tick off thaler and vincent so that they won't talk to you (accidentally did that the first time around) don't remember exactly how it played out in the dialogue though, I do remember it was after the crown witness quest though when ramsmeat's men try to attack you in the hospital.  Also, from what I understand from other boards in the forum, even if you can't talk to thaler or vincent, you can still bribe the grave digger with some type of dwarven alcohol.

To get the "whore" dialogue, you have to find out from Thaler that he acquired Berengar's gear from the underworld guys.
You also have to ask Coleman about salamander badges (therefore must talk to Coleman before he dies, if the Elves have Haren's weapons).
Also, you have to fight Ramsmeat's thugs at the hospital.

That's enough information with which to figure out he's not the guy you're looking for.

What i can remember is that once raymond told me to go and kill him i could return and tell Raymond i did even if i didnt.

By the Way, doesnt ramsmeat remind you of Riddick, anyone?

You just have to find the real Raymond in the crypt then everyone will be innocent!

If you lost both keys, then you are out of luck. What i normally do is put one of the keys in storage :) It is the only key in the game that you can lose (AFAIK)

Trust me mate, I HAD to kill Ramsmeat and it's a bug.

trust me, there are no bugs here, just choices

kdar:
proving his innocence is the easiest imo. you just have to choose sensible dialogue options, or gain some clues by talking often to the thugs in poor district, solving prostitutes quest you get from carmen also helps. try to advance the witness quest a little bit, too.

proving kalksteins` innocence it the hardest one =)
