Looked in the game guide and it didnt really explain it.Says to use beehives to blow up the entrances but see nowhere to buy the formula.Is this a bought item or just trial on alchemy?

You dont use beehives but grapeshots. I think Cedric sells the formula

You don't need to throw those bombs (grapeshots) into nekker's nests to destroy them. When you approach the nest, an interaction command appear in the center of the screen: left click mouse button to set the bomb and then run away like hell, before it explodes.

Buy the grapeshot formula from Cedric and you can make the bombs yourself AND/OR you can also buy some grapeshot bombs directly off him for a price.
You need 4 grapeshot bombs for this mission.

SecondChildren is right just hit CTRL to equip grapeshot as your secondary weapon then run over to the nest and left click mouse button then run like hell and watch the nest blow up.

Then you have to kill pee'd off nekkers because you destroyed there nest.

If you want you can buy nekker lures to lure the nekker to a distraction point so you can blow the nest.
Depending where you put the lure the nekkers may go for you instead, as it depends on where your standing.

Place lure, then conflagration trap, then run around so nekker come up out of the ground so they go for the lure but hit the trip wires of the conflagration trap and BOOM dead nekkers

All the nests are pretty close to each other so don't go wandering off. Use Z to locate the nest which usually have a lot of bones around them then walk up to it and left click (or right click I forget). Also, you can easily jump in and plant one then jump back and won't even have to fight like the others said.

Thanks for the advice. The game guide is wrong. The bomb is called grapeshot and the recipe can be bought from Cedric. You walk up to the nest and a prompt will appear allowing you to place the bomb. Then step back.

I can't seem to find the fourth nest. I think I have cleared out the entire swamp of monsters trying. There is one next to the two statues flanking the spur road that leads off the road where the wagon massacre happened. There are two next to a giant uprooted tree, which is across the creek from the first nest. These two can be seen from each other. Can anyone tell me where the fourth is located?

The guide mentions one being in the cave under the waterfall, but I found nothing there. I have the PC version.

The last is near the place where you found two nests by the big tree. Search just west of there.

The guide is wrong; there is none in the cave.

Thanks so much. It's right where you said it was. I think I have a wagonload of Nekker parts. Basically the nests are in a roughly straight line running East to West.

It's very easy to get lost in that forest. However, it's a lot safer now. For what it is worth, I ended up with 119 Nekker teeth.
