If you go back -after the defeat from letho- near the cave, where Ioverths hideout is, you'll find a skeleton with a ilver "Sword of Kaer Morhen".
Is there any indication in the game or in the books who that guy might have been?

Yeah I found that sword also.
It could of been an old witcher since the old times when there were many witcher's of Kaer Morhen.
I don't think there's any mention who it is in TW2.
But then again who saids it was a witcher or just someone with a witcher's blade...hmm who knows.
It's like when you receive an old witcher's silver sword in TW1 which came from an old witcher who died in battle.
Shani tells you it was a witcher who fought in the battle of brenna a Temerian war against Nifgaadians.

Wasn't his name Coen? I think he was mentioned in the last book of the Geralt Saga.
