After updating to patch 1.3 I can no longer set the screen resolution to 1600x900. Is there a way to change the aspect ratio to get it to show? The highest I can go for wide screen now is 1024x600 and I still get small black bars on the top and bottom of my screen and the graphics look really grainy.

Have you tried editing the user.ini file found in
Documents>Witcher 2>config . Just scroll to the bottom and you should see
[Viewport]
Height=900
Width=1600
After which run the game from the witcher2exe found in the bin folder of your game directory

Same here I had to edit config to get 2560x1600.
