SLI has worked just fine after patch 1.3. At least for me.

With the last 280.19 beta drivers, SLI support is awesome. I have 2 x GTX 580 cards and SLI scales like crazy (always above 90% usage, verified with eVGA Precision). So I would say "Problem fixed" for this issue. Update drivers instead of always finding hacks to make things work.

For those who have SLI, i think they need to disable vertical-sync.

Patch 1.3 nearly doubled my fps with SLI and I'm using old drivers!

TW2 manual install guide from the DVDs? See my post here

TW2 Enhanced Edition Patch install errors? See my post

(not for Steam) Enhanced Edition gives you "application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)" error? See here

I gotta check out the load balancing on my sli set up at home. I am on 285 OC edition video cards and though I am playing at 2560 x 1600 the game is very smooth everything maxed out with tweaked user.ini settings. There are some battles where the frame rate lagged big time but still it's amazing to see how good these cards have lasted me. I think its time i bit the bullet and got me a pair of them MSI lightning vid cards!

Disabling VSync is a waste of resources for powerful configurations. Anything above the refresh of the monitor is wasted energy / load.

confirm patch 1.3 properly loads both GTS450 on 100% using 280.19 drivers. although I won't roll back to 275.77 just to prove the point :)
tested with EVGA Precision
