Instructions.
1. Download link.
2. Extract files and copy to the directory of the game that contains the exe file. For the witcher you need to copy it into the /bin folder.
3. Disable any other antialiasing as it can interfere.
4. Play the game with great AA and awesome framerates.

Its a new AA technique from nvidia, FXAA ( Fast Approximate Anti Aliasing ). It does a very good job and basically no frame rate drop.

It's not a traditional AA method, maybe that's why.. And it hurts the image quality. It's less "crisper" than using normal MSAA. But I've hear that the custom AA used in The Witcher 2 works more efficiently than FXAA anyways, but it's good for example UE3 games that don't support AA.

Testing both the different AA (ingame/FXAA) I feel that FXAA is way better. Test it for yourself and see what you think. Theres a few comparison shots on Guru3d forums.

Nah. I'm perfectly fine with the current AA, and the game runs fluid.

I might try it with Mass Effect 2 tho next time I play it.

How interesting! I'll give it a shot, that's for sure, and to disable the default AA setting in the game first.

So no ATI equivalent, I guess?
Long time TES modder. When the tools are released, hopefully, a TW2 modder.

For my taste FXAA is too blured. Ingame AA look much better.

<p> 1. since it's only a shader it could work on AMD cards.

2. you should just move any DX9_xx.DLL from the executable path so that the game picks up the custom DX9.DLL, on this note STALKER-SoC has this yet it crashes when one does that :(

mmm, no ingame setting for that, right? forcing it would be an option

> Is the in-game Anti-aliasing and Sharpness set to ON! in those images?.
nope, just Sharpness
AA+FXAA makes it rather blurry, not to mention the blurrying of the interface & text :(

do check and post pictures :D

@Zorja

Precisely what I meant in my first post. It's not worth it, the image becomes too blurred.

@Zorja, I'm guessing that this will probably work on version 1.4 as there is another mod call ICEHANCER and ENB series which dont work will any version of GTA higher than 1.4. So from that I reckon this FXAA mod will work on 1.4 and below.
