That waterfall is a troll. I chased a she elf there only to be attacked by Scoia'tael, then I had to go into the cave to get a damn herb, then after I got out of said cave, drowners appeared.

You can also use your medallion. Note: there are some wrong trails to follow.

This mission on 'Finding Triss' was a bit confusing as it didn't let on that you need cat potion to find the blood trail after talking to the prostitutes.
It does kinda says in the journal but if you didn't read your journal you would be lost.
Finding him is a sad moment in the game.

Places to find Cedric normally are:
The ladder up to the tree tops.
Ground level at the fire place.
In the forest near the first set of traps.
or inside he's house which I totally forgot he goes in there.

Cedric is good for buying diagrams for bombs and traps and also bait.
You can buy Kayran armour enhancements diagrams off him too so don't forget to get those off him before the end of Act 1.

Why am I laughing so hard at this? :D
I would have loved if that waterfall was a troll for real. I love chatting with them, they have such a way with words.

I had more trouble finding Cedric earlier in the game, when he's moving around in Lobinden. One time I found him going to the toilet in the bushes, but he didn't seem to mind.

Whether it's TW1 or TW2, always read the quest section of your journal! There's frequently useful information in there, so reading it for every quest is a good habit to get into.
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

Finding Cedric was such a nice quest in the game. I didn't use the cat potion but followed the blood trail with bare eye. A bit harder yet so much fun.

Plus, they're nicely written, too.
