Bought the first witcher installed to laptop and doesn't work installed the patch 1.5 says
Min req. Not met ahhhhhhhh can someone help.

Yes the game works on windows 7 but you will need to read the FAQ: http://www.thewitche...p?topic=17503.0 update to patch 1.5 first, remove TAGES as explained, and do the fix for the
dontForceMinReqs found there

"Minimum requirements not met" can mean any of three things:

* Your computer actually does not meet the game's minimum requirements. Laptops with Intel GPUs are examples.

* Your computer does meet the game's minimum requirements, but the game thinks otherwise. Laptops with nVidia chipsets like the 9300M are examples.

* You have a laptop with nVidia Optimus, which makes it impossible for the game to determine what GPU you have.

For further assistance, we ask you to register your game. Click "Register" on the launcher menu, or find and run "register.exe" (under the folder where you installed The Witcher) to begin registration.
