Hi everyone,

i got the quest but the reverend didn't give me the holy flame needed to actually light the eternal flame shrine... i'm totally stuck and i did everything in the zone before noticing this...

I hope there is a way to unstuck myself, anybody can help, this seems to be a rather nasty bug...

Sometimes people miss things that really are in their quest inventory, since sometimes people don't realize that it scrolls from side to side with the little arrows.  But you're early enough in the game that I wouldn't expect your quest inventory to fill up one whole line yet.  So I guess you really do have a bug.  Luckily, there's an easy way to fix it.

Download the Saved Game Editor and edit your game to give yourself the candles.  Make sure you count the number of shrines before you open your saved game, so you can give yourself the right number of them.  Provided there's no other problem with your game, that should fix it.

Yes it was really missing i even verified the icon on the net before posting hehe...

Thanks for the answer, fortunately i had the idea right after posting for the save editor and it did worked.. so to everyone out there, if you have the same bug, save editor is you're friend!

Are you absolutely certain? The candel/flames do not show up in your regular inventory boxes with the rest of the items you pick up. It shows up in your quest item inventory at the top, next to Geralt's head.

hehe i know that and it was missing, completely missing...missing even in the quest item section.  but like i said, i could edit my save, the problem is solved. By using the holy flame i putted with the save editor, i could unstuck myself.. but the problem was critical nevertheless :)
