Diplomacy and Hunting Act III.  I follow the Heirophant to the clearing, wipe out the Salamandra.  Heirophant says "Roland is dead.  Check his body."  Roland's body is present but not accessible.  I can click on it all day and do not get the "hand" icon.  I tried several times by going back to a previous save...same results.  I cannot access his body.  Is there anyway to force either the body to be searched or advance the dialogue so I can complete the quest.  6000 experience points are a lot of points to lose when you have completed the quest.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

You may try out:

1. Important items will not dissappear. Leave the place and return. All other bodies shouldn't be there - but one.

2. Take all the items from the other bodies in Roland's surrounding. That's nasty (you have to transport all the weapons piece for piece). Seek for Roland's body with the Alt-key and klick it.

3. Repeat the fight. (Max is still seeking for the appropriate smiley...)

I remember having trouble just finding his body in this quest, I think.

In addiction to what Max said before, I can only suggest to reload before the fight and try to beat him again. I know it could be annoying. Let us know if you succeed in anyone of the things Max listed.

Another possibility is to use the Saved Game Editor to give yourself the items that you're supposed to find on Roland's body.

Thanks to Max, Secondchildren, and Corylea for your responses.  I followed Max's suggestion of leaving and returning.  It worked.  Using the ALT key suggestion was also helpful.  Again, many thanks to all.
