Yeah there's a part of me that still thinks i'm a ten year old, but damn the mirror quickly shatters that illusion.
I was once asked by a journalist what my thoughts were on the modern world slipping into ignorance and apathy, I told him, "I don't know and I don't fucking care!"

Perhaps it is that the rain and snowflakes reminds us of the stars we could never catch when we were kids?
The miracle of a soul is that it never gets older but wiser, while the body gets older to soon and badly :huh:/> You know? don't listen to the mirror, it only gives you an image of a body, not the way you really feel inside ;)/>

Makes you feel gloriously alive though doesn't it? It's always struck me as funny that i've never felt more alive than when i'm on the edge of the abyss. Bouncing from toe to toe, your heart beating fast, your bladder full and limbs demanding movement. I think I was a little addicted to that feeling when younger, the world has a habit of slapping some sense into you though.

I've only been in a few fights in my life and barely scraped by half the time. Posted Image

Last night reminded me of why I don't frequent bars anymore, the perfect environment for trouble.

You do see humanity at its lowest ebb in such places, totally agreed.

I've been in only one fight in my life and at the risk of sounding cheesy considering it's the "men's lounge" (:P), I did it because some idiot was drowning a blind cat for the lulz.

Woah...that's eerie. Just like my first fight. Some kids were tossing a kitten into a ditch, letting it swim ashore, then tossing it in again. Heh, I still get lit thinking about it...

First fight I had was a bunch of dutch lads beating the crap out of me because I was english, turns out in Jo'burg the Boer War's (and the concentration camps) not fully been forgotten, mind you that was thirty or forty years ago.

Damn, guys, you just touched some "sensitive" memories of mine ;)

I gotta admit I've been into some crazy fights, including fighting opponents wielding knives and having a gun pointed at me twice. When I think about it today, as a peaceful, law-abiding citizen, I'm grateful I'm still here sometimes. And I wonder where the fuck was my head back then!?

No it doesn't, you had a greater purpose to putting yourself at risk ;)

I have some crazy memories too, to be fair :P And I know also what means "opponents wielding knives", but I never had a gun pointed at me: you have my admiration, it wasn't surely I nice memory..

Ha, i've been in a far more dangerous situation. I once got between me mate fat Bob and a pie, damn near didn't escape alive, still got a piece of fork lodged in me hand from that escapade.
