You need newer word or the free reader I think its OpenOffice, its free.

There's a compatibility file you can download from Microsoft to read docx files in older versions of Word (although I don't think you can save anything as docx).

I downloaded OpenOffice but now get a notification and it's not able to read the file. It says there's something wrong with the file or something happened during download.

I'll try the compatibility file

EDIT: This time I could.. in a way.. open the file. but it's not readable (weird symbols, no text). Something isn't right with the file or doesn't go right with the download. Typical luck of mine. Thank you for helping nonetheless.

I won't read The Sword Of Destiny stories yet (neither, of course, Times of Contempt), because winter is coming. It's not easy to have a Sapkowski's piece of work translated and not read it, but i want to keep something good for the cold November nights.

I agree As soon as Times of Contempt gets finished I'm going to jump right in and read it I was originally going to wait for it to come out officially, but after I read the first three books I can't wait that long (I'll still buy it whenever it comes out though )

After reading the Last Wish in english I was eager to read the rest of the stories and saga when I found this thread. I don't speak/read any other language (proper teaching of languages in state schools is a very rare thing in England) and was thinking about having a go at just using the web to translate the next stories.

It is a nice luxury to be able to read the books in my own language and enjoy them fully and just wanted to say thank you to the whole community who have helped piece together the books so far! Amazing job much appreciated
