Haha, I'll ask her about postponing it and see what her reaction is. Should be interesting.

But yeah, I really was hoping to get it done before the wedding, but I've had strep throat all week and been too busy at work to take any time off - actually its been all 11 hour days so far this week. The combination of everything is tiring me out a bit.

The only thing I have fully translated so far is the opening paragraph. I'll see if I can get anything more done tonight - should have a bit of free time.

Yeah I'm six pages in.

It has been slow going.

Hopefully I can start picking up some momentum this week.

Hope you feel better soon Brian.

Well I think you are both several kinds of awesome for doing all this work for us!

Hope you feel better soon, Brian, and have a great wedding, wishing you and your partner all the very best!

Brian, please go rest! You don't want to get so sick that you miss your own wedding.
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

Hi! Was just about to play The Witcher 2 when I found out that I first wanted to read all the books (and perhaps replay the 1st game). It's no secret that the 1st game hints or throws references to lots of things it doesn't explain... And I don't speak a word Polish, so imagine my joy when I found this thread! I'm definitely looking forward to reading these books. Thanks so much to the author(s) for the great work!

Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody know of any plans to translate "A Road with No Return", the only canon short story from the collection "Something Ends, Something Begins". That's the only one entirely missing here...

There is a link, given by Corylea in page 13, post 244 of this topic.

I believe the link is to the short story "Something ends, Something begins" which is a non-canon story about Yennefer and Geralt's wedding.

If I could get my hands on a copy of the short story "A Road with no Return" I could probably translate it.

That's correct.

Are the Nine chapters of Tower of Swallow the completed book? I only ask so I know if I can go ahead and get them. I really don't want to start it without it being done :) Thanks again for the all the hard work you guys are doing.

There are two more chapters to the Tower of the Swallow.

I'm currently working on Chapter 10 - about 45% done.

Brian1821 is working on Chapter 11 - I assume when his brand new wife will give him time :)

Hopefully it wont take us too much longer to get this finished.

People keep asking this question, so I've edited the first post to note that the nine chapters that are listed there are out of 11.

Thanks Corylea,

Although these questions remind me that I need to actually sit down and get this done :)

How does any one expect me to get any work done when CDPR keep releasing new content for me to play.

You play all the EE you want! It's very sweet of you to translate these things for us at all, and eager as we all are to read them, translation shouldn't come between you and new game content.

Besides, Brian is probably going to be busy for awhile, so there's no rush on your chapter. ;)

Funny thing is, that did cross my mind on release day.

"YAY! New content!...Crap! That'll delay translation a bit!" :)

The Google-fu is strong with this one. (No seriously, I just googled the polish title, no need to thank me.)

Thanks SO much for these! I was rather annoyed to find that Sword of Destiny had not been translated and I hate to read them out of order.

I took the liberty of combining all the Sword of Destiny stories into one document and creating an English cover for them using the Serbian edition (my favorite cover for this book).

So, any possibility to make the downloads compatible for Mac?
