Have the ingredients, made potion, when I go to triss and click on her, the game does not allow me to click on gift icon or double click on potion icon.....stuck here for a couple of days with numerous restarts.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your quick reply....yes I just made sure I spoke with Vesimir before and after making the potion.  Once again I go see Triss in her room.....click on her, listen to her sigh and can't do anything after that.............

It seems you have encountered a bug luckily your in the prolog.
You can try starting a new game and if you encounter the same bug then try reinstalling but make sure to temporarily disable antivirus when installing game and patches

As for Triss: Don't click on icon or potion. You should drag and drop potion on icon.
As for meditation: Vesemir is giving you chance to meditate as one of dialog option after Leo dead. If you wan't maditate then you can go upstairs and meditate by fire.
Jeśli granie w Wiedźmina 3 ucieszy nas w połowie tak jak cieszyło RED'ów robienie go, to znaczy, że RED'zi będą z niego mieli dwa razy więcej radochy ;)

Do you have the Enhanced Edition and all patches downloaded? Still, thats frustrating when stuff like this happens.

I see people reporting bugs quite often about this game and the only problem I had were occasional crashes. I didn't run into a single bug.

Sadly, you are not yet registered here with your game. :( Please do, we'd like to see you get past this point because we know you will be floored with this game's awesomeness! :)
In the beginning, there was a really great game we all wanted to play. We were patient, helpful towards one another until we figured out how to get it to work. If you haven't tried to kill the kikimore queen at 4 fps, you need to learn more patience.

I was looking for that information :)

When I had trouble with mine, I went to my profile here and there was an option to register my game there, but I don't know if it's still there.

There's a "Register the game" button on the launcher.

There may also still be an option on the main site page for the Witcher 1. I can't remember if there's a support link there.

Edit: If you downloaded from Steam, you may have to get them to issue you a key.

Remember keep saving, it seems this is the best remedy for avoiding future bugs, I can't stress enough how vital it is to create multiple saves, though you should be able to play without doing this - do it anyway.

You are indeed lucky slimgrin, although perhaps your next playthrough you might encounter some - I've not encountered many, some minor, some major - but nevertheless, alot of the time it is decisions you make ingame that can have some effects later on.

Some areas with low spec pc's will be incredibly slow - crypts for instance, even on low settings - a poor graphics card or processor will have real difficulty, extremely low fps, consider buying a better one, updating drivers to latest.
Black screens, unloaded areas seem to be due to hardware also.
