I currently have Arondite. I also have a chance to forge a silver sword with 3 moon runes, which would replace it. Arondite still seems to have the higher damage, but I'm also curious about the sword you get for killing all the trophies in the game. I think its called Moon blade? When and where might I get that?

From the Royal Huntsman in act 5 after you turn in the last trophy . Of course when he gives you 1000 orens reward it goes back to the game screen so just talk to him again . Thats how it worked for me anyway

The enhanced silver sword for me wasn`t worth the expense but then again orens won`t import to W2 so i think on my current play i`m gonna buy it and see what happens of course i have to get that far 1st

Good question. I think the Aerondight. Otherwise I understand the Moon Blade is an effect: Damage + 100%
But Aerondight has a few good effect: Chance of critical effect: Pain + 50%
Chance of critical effect: Blinding + 50%
Chance of critical effect: Incineration + 50%
Chance of critical effect: Precise hit + 50%

I would recommend Aerondight against any craftable silver sword.

Moonblade's the only sword that's arguably better than Aerondight, but it's something that comes down to personal preference. I prefer to add the critical effects with temporary runes so that I can adjust depending on what I'm fighting, so I like Moonblade's base damage. But you can add damage to Aerondight, so it balances out in the end.

Moonblade imports into TW2 with higher stats than Aerondight, but you may not be interested in that aspect of it :)

It's one of two possible quest rewards from the Royal Huntsman for having done all ten trophy quests in the game. (You can choose between Moonblade and a steel sword, Mahakaman Rune Sihill)

Oh, wow, I always get the Sihill and never think in the moonblade. Thanks.

The Sihill is also the quest reward for "Won't Hurt A Bit" so you can get both swords. My favourite endgame pairing :)
