I actually think she was quite lucky, (as lucky you can be in this situation that is) imagine if they had capture her before the war. Who knows what they would have done with her then before actually killing her.

Weird as it sounds, I have alot of sympathy to the Salamandra Geralt is to kill in the warehouse in chapter 2.

And yet White Rayla didn't deserve to be sniped from the shadows. I hated Yeavinn for that. Then she was turned into a zombie.

Who really got the bum deal? This to me was the toughest dilemma in the game.

It is very sad for White Rayla too. Even if you believe she was a ruthless killer who had the death-by-sniper coming to her, being resurrected as a mutant and made to wear a Chainmail Bikini is a fate you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. When she can only whisper "Geralt...", I think there's an unsaid "...release me."

She was willing to kill all the non-humans she could get her hands on, so I thought it was perfectly reasonable for her to be killed by an elven sharpshooter.

Yaevinn and the Scoia'tael had nothing to do with that.  Just more of Azar Javed's evil.  And putting her out of her misery was easy for me -- I wouldn't want to be like that, and I don't think the Rayla I met would have wanted it, either.

Who knows if Toruviel would have stopped from making an example out of the children. Rayla deserved a warrior's death, not assassination. Yeavinn showed no honor.

That's what the Redcoats said about the American soldiers during the Revolutionary War. :-)

I also think Rayla was quite "lucky" because after her death, Salamandra could only bring her "back to life" - O.K. made a zombie out of her, but the possibilities if they captured her alive? That´s scary, who knows what Javed could think of making out of her... and about her death - I don´t like when someone is killed by an arrow which came out of nowhere, but it was a war, and pretty bloody one. Children and common folk was slaughtered so honour was buried a long time ago... according my opinion of course.

Given what Ramsmeat told Geralt about Azar Javed, it's probably a good idea not to think too hard about what exactly happened to White Rayla.

Ramsmeat's one of my favorite minor characters. Too bad we don't get more chances to interact with him.

Well, Azar was a great bad guy - he had a character (pretty twisted yes, but had one) and his motivation was understandable. He wasn´t one of those who are just bad because creators want them to be, without any explanation. A worthy opponent indeed. I must agree it´s maybe better not to dig in his others secret intentions, because those mutants from act V were really disgusting (in the right way of course).  Ramsmeat was very interesting character - a nice example of an "honourable" butcher from the underworld. Trully, almost none character from the game was pictured as completely good or bad - very good job, gives a relly vivid picture of the witcher´s world. But there are plenty others minor characters where it´s a shame we don´t have a chance to interact with them more - but how long will the game last then?? :D:D

What quest in chapter 5 does this happen in? I've been trying to find it on youtube with no luck.

It's been a while, but I believe its near the end, when you meet up with Rayla, who casually mentions Toruviel's fate.
