Now I know some things can be learned by books for which you pick up/buy throughout the game. Is this the same with the oils for your swords as well? You see I've so far got 3 different types of Oil for which I can coat my sword with but was wondering how I could learn to make more of them? Or do you automaticlly learn them when you raise your inteligence up?
Also the Mutagens for which you create like the Golem's Pith for example that you create with the golems heart that gives the moon rise intelligence upgrade. Is this Perm. or temporary?

Well now will have to admit that so far there are only 3 Oils for which I've learned so far and they are:
Argentina Oil
Insectoid Oil
Necrophage Oil
When I check the books for which are sold by the Antiquary in the Temple district or the Book seller in the Trade District most of them show that I've already read them.
The ones for which I'm looking to learn right now are:
Ornithosaur Oil
Spector Oil
Vampire Oil
And I can't find notthing in any books on them. Anybody have any ideas on where I can find the info? Also I seen a Wiki for which list the ingredients for potions but when I tried that to create one it said 'Unknown Potion".
How do I find out the name of the Unknown potion to make sure that I've got the right one made? And if it is will it add it to the list for which I already know already?
Thanks

It will say unknown until you use it the 1st time and then you will get an entry in your journal that tells you what it is. Also same for bombs and potions

Hi Tommy,
Well now thanks for the information on the potions, bombs, and oils I was wondering how that there worked. Now as for bombs it will only give you an entry if you've selected it in your attirbutes correct?

Well now I'm begining to learn how this thing works more and more as things progress through the game. I appreciate the help as this is different than allot of the cprg's for which I've played in the past. Do you get more Vitality each time you meditate and select your talents?
That is correct . In fact you can`t even make any bombs until you select that talent

And the best part is the farther you get in the game the better it gets. Yep there are talents in the top tree i can`t really remember which one gives added vitality but it`s one of the top 4 strength stamina intelligence and dexterity. If your still on FCR i recommend filling out dex 1st or as much as you can

Now what is FCR? As for the points I've not raised distributed any in a while. Not to say that I've not got them to distribute. You see I've got about 4 or 5 silver available to me and who knows how many bronze. Guess I'll have to go through and read and distribute them before I go back into the swamps. But your reccomending dex will give that some thought. Thanks.

Well I knew that you regained any lost vitality while you were either meditating or not doing battle with something or other in the game.<G> Ok than it's not like other cprg's for which you can spend your attribute points and gain more hit points. Being as this is the first time I've every played through this game this part still has me scratching my head trying to figure it out.<G>

You regain lost vitality every time you meditate, yes. You do not increase max vitality every time you spend a point unless that skill point is vitality enhancing.

I had you confused with someone else . Sorry about that so forget what i said about FCR and dex.. FCR is a mod that changes the way the game is done . I wouldn`t recommend it until you have a minimum of at least one full game under your belt

Oh ok I was wondering what that there was all about. You sure had me scratching my head.<LOL> Of course was doing that when I installed the drivers for the new graphics card and it kept crashing the system every time I loaded up the game. Turned out I did an amature move and installed both the 32 and 64 bit drivers and they were conflicting with one another. Hate when I do that there.
