I should have added this on my first post but oh well.
Well the reason why I picked that part out of all the wonderful part of TW1.
Is because I found myself saying you are a monster.
Which reminded me of what a wise man ones told me that monster are real they just look like us.

Definitely the Ice plains. When you reach it, there is no going back. By then you're some kind of juggernaut anyway. I play that segment in the most careless way, butchering my way through hordes of enemies without having to worry about saving up potions, the next contract, related quest or anything. Only one target, only one path, only one solution to the problem. It's liberating to be honest.
Also the fact that the blood trails look awesome on ice. :)

Probably my favorite dialogue section in the game.

Geralt:

“ You have two options. Wait until I leave and try to murder Abigail…but then I’ll come back. I’ll slay every lice ridden peasant, anything that moves and can’t climb a tree. Or you can try to live honorable lives, clear your conscience, and start again. The choice is yours. "

IMO, This scene was much better in the original Witcher than Enhanced Edition. Geralt sounded more angry in it or something.. But still.. Probably the coolest line in gaming history. For me at least.

Geralt had great control over his anger. It was his calmness that scared people. The composed manner in which he could tell people he'd gut them and his (in)famous gaze made his a terror.
Here's a quote from Blood of Elves:
"He wasn't easily scared; few things frightened him. However, he heard all of them in the white-haired man's voice. And more."
I think the EE voice fitted this description better.

The moment was impressive, whatever the voice .

I think Geralt's voice in EE was a bit bored at that scene. Or at least he sounded like that. In the original the voice was calm but it was more threatening at the same time. I got goose bumps from it. :D Angry might have been a poor choice of words in my earlier post. But you're right, the scene is brilliant in both versions. I just preferred the original :)

I agree.  There are a lot of great scenes in The Witcher, but the scene at the end of Chapter 1 is the one that sticks with me the most.  Partly, I think, it's just a great scene.  Partly, I and most of my friends are people who've always been different in some way, and the angry villagers scapegoating the different one, showing up at night with torches and threatening to burn her ... that's never happened to me, but it's the kind of thing that has happened to people like me in the past.  So it feels real to me in a way that some of the other awesome stuff in the game didn't.

And then there's Geralt's speech, like EskiMoe said -- that line about slaying "every lice-ridden peasant, anything that moves and can't climb a tree" -- that stayed with me for a long time.  I wished I'd had a protector when I was being bullied in school, and Geralt was so wonderful in that scene.  He left everyone in no doubt about where he stood.

Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

I know it's over-the-top sentimental, but I like the flashback Geralt gets toward the end of Act III if he cured Vincent: "Tough cop. ****** from the slums.... A fairy tale."

Geralt can be played as a hopeless romantic who can create happiness for others that he is denied for himself. His curing of both Adda and Vincent are as important in this way as his standing up for Abigail is.

The most impressive moments in the game for me are the storylines themselves, the surprises I got - for instance when finding out who the Werewolf was, and then finding out about the Detective. Hadn't seen those coming. :)

Having decided that there was no other way, I got ready for a long fight against a supporting character (I won't spoil the plot by naming). Geralt's first move was the ol' stand on the chest, lop off a head and backflip. Over in seconds, I was taken aback and instantly felt that I'd made a wrong choice. Now 'cool' looking fights and pretty graphics are not unknown in gaming, but this was something else...a 'What have I done?' moment that stayed with me long after the scene had played out.

Oh on my first playthrough I was aghast to find the murdered, real raymond in the crypt - I was so naive ^^
Another among the countless epic moments was finding the dimerithium amulet that geralt gave to Alvin on the dead Grand Master... The Witcher 1, I love you.

The scene where you finally win Aerondight -- and the music: Silver Sword.
Change is constant. Get used to it.

I love how before the Beast appears for the final fight, those farm houses start to burn - very creepy.

Also cool was when I thought I was setting up a trap for Kalkstein in the swamp tower, but the joke was on me :P
Especially when i discovered later that you can discover beforehand that it was Azar Javed.

Plus, the part where you sail away from Murky Waters - that is one those moments when you get the feeling that you made the wrong choice.
I left my heart to the Wild Hunt a-comin'. I live until the call. And I plan to be forgotten when I'm gone. Yes, I'll be leaving in the fall.

Most exciting moment: when the lady of the lake, presents herself gloriously from the water and gives Geralt the aerondight..

Probably all the art scenes with just Geralt's narration. Those were always so epic and the one thing I really missed in tw2 :(

When Jean Pierre talks about Leo Bonhart and how he kill witchers... And Geralt says somethin like "but he is dead" and the racist is like "ehm... yeah".

The line "that swords is for monsters" is very good. We all know is for monsters and we all know is for Jacques.

The most impressive moment for me was how it made me feel sick to my stomach(in a good way!) over killing Berengar.... and that was before I read the letter he had on him.
