I just want to check if my situation is ****** (like if i have missed some small detail) or if i simply have to start over.

Everyone except Kalkstein is proven innocent (he has been proven guilty through the autopsy), and ramsmeat is dead.

Since i implicated Kalkstein he has refused to talk to me. As far as i have unterstood this is not supposed to be possible.

I have gotten beyond this point in the story before so i know what i will find in the cemetery, and as far as i remember that will pretty much end that quest. However i cannot get a hold of the permit to enter. Both Vincent and thaler have been proven innocent, yet there is no conversation-tree mentioning the permit.

For some reason i cannot get a hold of a lightning rod (i just cant ask the order blacksmith about, again tehre is no tree for it), and therefore i cannot get the 9th sepiroth.


This is my second attempt (last time i think i got stuck in act 3), and if there is no way to progress i feel like just saying ****** it" and leaving the game bee. Its an exceptional game from time to time, but its so riddled with horrendous glitches and badly programmed dialouge trees that it so far is one of the most aggravating gaming-experiences i have ver had (especially since it could have been so good)

I want to finnish this game and see where the story goes, but it would seem that for that to happen CD-projekt would have to release a whole new "extra enhanced edition", because its still a glitch ridden mess wich could be saved if enough time and effort was put into straightening out the plethora of grueling glitches.

sorry for the rant, but i just really want to progress in the story...

you won`t have to start completely over if you have previous saves just back to just before the autopsy. All i will say on the autopsy is don`t jump to conclusions and do a complete autopsy just keep asking shani what she thinks or something to that effect. After the autopsy be sure and visit shani at home and you should also clear thaler there
