Can anyone shed a light on how I get to find out which herb is growing in the hospital garden as it's now starting to really bug me.  I've run out of books to read from the Antiquary so not quite sure how I'm going to find out what these herbs are (there's three of them if I recall...).

There are other sources of books in Act II ;)

Failing that, Act III will open up another district of Vizima to you, but won't close any others. Perhaps you'll learn what those plants are then.

and i thought i was one of the few that was bugged because i couldn`t pick it but you will eventually find out what it is

Believe it or not you can find this herbs name and get an entry in your journal in Act 1 but you need to talk and talk and talk to the right people (old people)

If I'm not mistaken, it's "verbana".
Entry obtained by giving food to old peasant woman/beggar in Act 1.
