PM I have finished all the Alvin quests yet but after i got the silver sword from the lady of the lake, wikia says alvin is going to be captured by the elves but there is nothing happening. I spent a week to find out but i couldn't :S
So please help...

Pretty weird.
If you've completed the quest "Ripples" but the log doesn't update it's not a problem. Have you already had your the last rendez-vous with Berengar? You should advance in that quest too. Have you saved Alvin\sent love letters to your plot\mate (whoever she is- Shani or Triss)?

i did the ripples request by giving the lady of the lake two gifts from julian and vodyanoi priest and killed dagon,
i dont know what do you mean by having the rendezvous with Berengar, i spoke to him several times, last time quest said that 'Berengar will pay for what he did' or something like that..
and i sent my letter to triss, saved alvin from the skeleton, and now he is in the village...
its kinda complicated isnt it :S

Your last meeting with Berengar it's part of "The Paths of Destiny". And yes, i'ts complicated coz all three are related.
Anyway, what happened after you receive Aerondight? Did you come back to the Lakeside and meet the Order's commando? If not, you haven't advanced in "Free Elves" quest. "Alvin" quest will update later on....

There is a similar thread here. Look at the answers there for possible solutions or a way to continue your game. I hope this helps.
Your game seems to be bugged. You can use Save Game Editor to fix your save game or request help doing it at the Djinni Lab subforum or request a save game at the Savegame Market thread but you need to register your game to request a save game. If all else fails, you should start playing the chapter from the start with your old save games.
