I need to add an item to the witcher. I thought I saved the devourer teeth for dentist's quest. I need to add them back into the game. How do I do that? I'm NOT going back to the beginning of the chapter or any other saves.

The dentist's quest is not obligatory; you can finish the game just fine without it.
If you do want to add devourer teeth, there's a saved game editor. I've never used it, myself, so I can't vouch for its effectiveness, but other people have reported success with it ... often with this particular quest.
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.
I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.
I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

Now that's a treat! You see, I've always found it quite silly that the Kaer Morhen library contains no readable books... Thanks to this little editor I've changed it in my current playthrough! :)
I thank you for your time

I'm glad such an old witcher as yourself was finally able to get something he wanted!
I haven't used the saved game editor and would appreciate a report, so I can know the next time someone has a problem and I mention the editor to them -- how easy is it to get it installed and set up on your computer? Once there, how easy is it to use?

I'v done the witcher 7 times through. ;) In different ways
Ah. Well, I guess you didn't need to be reassured that it was possible to finish the game without the dentist's quest, then, did you? :-)

Now, I do every quest in the game. Last time, it was master witcher level 2. I'll see if can get 2 more levels above that. Now I can avoid going through chapter again with the editor. :)
Well, when we import our saved games into TW2, you should be doing very well. :-)

I'v focused on fire magic, aard, and both. Dividing on combat style, full on combat. Too many combinations to count. I'v have to try the other signs. I have/had all potions formulas. I can put together ritual of magic, T.owl, M.forrest, Petri's Philter, cat or full moon or swallow(sometime two of these) or wolf. I push the tox to limit(1/2). That all I can remember. This isn't counting all the sword greases. ;) I can do fire 3 times in session(before the reduce tox in the player upgrade). I'm not sure how many times through actually. 7+
Hopefully, they will fix the movement bugs and quest bugs. I already posted two years ago.

Why? that would make it too easy.

Download and install java
make new folder and name "witcher editor"
copy all files in zip to folder
click on shortcut in folder.
Simple...

"I listen and obey, as a genie would."
All I needed to do to install it, was unzipping it and downloading the latest java. The readme file is somewhat confusing. It painstakingly describes how to create a shortcut which will run the program... but this shortcut is already provided. Other than this little calamity, it works great.

That sounds like two votes for "easy" to me. :-) Thanks!

Ah, it appears I'm not the only person appreciating this particular one-liner :D Of course the *rest* of the Professor's comments about doing the wet work for Azar the fire mage is priceless too!
Sorry for derailing the thread, I'll crawl back under my stone now.
