In the outro when the masked Witcher tries to kill king Foltest, when his face is revealed it reminded me of Lambert. Can anyone confirm if it was actually Lambert or just some unknown Witcher?

When Geralt looked at him he was very suprised for a moment. I looked at all of characters from the journal and i find resemblance only with Dandelion because of the beard. Maybe its a person from his past - that will learn of in any sequels.

However i have another question - Spoiler!!!! Are Alvin and the Grandmaster the same person because the games end was really confusing for me. Spoiler!!!
And did anyone find any clues what happend in the 5 years that were missing from Geralt memory cuz i didnt ... and who ressurected him?

It was meant to be a bit confusing ;). As for reasons why Geralt was ressurected, they are not clearly shown, but for Saga's readers it may be easier to perceive them. I can say only, that important parts of that plot are King of the Wild Hunt, Geralt's destiny and the elder blood.

Can we expect a expansion to the witcher, or is it to early to tell?

It's too early to answer such a question, really ;).

You fight the grandmaster of the order even if you sided with the order knights??  I sided with the rebels, but I figured it'd be the head of the rebels that you fight in the end if you chose the knights.

Yes and the funny thing is that in the end King Wild Hunt accused me that i am one of the people envolved in the creation of the twisted order  :(

Alvin teleported himself away and back in time during the village fight in act 4. So yes, Alvin was the grandmaster of the order.

Not neccessarily - he *could* have found Alvin and first used him for his experiments, foretelling, etc. then got rid of him and kept the amulet. *shrugs* Hey, it *is* possible (but yeah, I too believe Alvin = Grandmaster).

Another issue: Outskirts
Can you prevent the slaughter in the Outskirts? If so, do you have to sacrifice Abigail to the mob?

Also: Siegfried
Anyone sided with the Order? I'd like to know if you have to fight Siegfried no matter what or if you can convince him that the Grandmaster is the bad boy?

And last but not least: Final Scenes
Does what the King of the Hunt tell you depend on your actions and does it matter if you give the Grandmaster to him or if you choose to fight (I don't know if both options lead to the fight).

I sided with the order. You do not have to fight Sigfried, he helps you and gets appointed new grandmaster by Foltest. The King of the Hunt appears and accuses you of creating the order. however you can kick his butt :) probably same thing with elves thogh, isn't it?

Yeah, the eyes match. The first time I saw the cinematic, I was wondering the same thing.
Maybe Geralt came back to life, because he was cloned or something. And this assassin was another clone :p

On a slightly diffrent aspect of the end.. Is it possible to get a "happy" ending with Triss? Or at least one where they at least remain together?

I personally chosed to side with the witch, help the order a little at first because it was a way to get the job done, then going with neither side in act 4 and having to fight both, Later at the king said Triss of the love of my life option but told her "we should stop torturing each other with something that might never be".. Just curious if that choice affected anything or if it's possible they can stay together at the end? Personally I found them a perfect match, the other girl was rather annoying and seemed far to jealous to be fun to have around. Also Witcher+Sorceress seems a better match then Witcher+Medic  ;D

I didn't expect a live happily ever after ending in the witcher considering the game is far "darker" in mood then pretty much every other fantasy setting game out there exept a few but it would at least have been nice to get something or at least a good bye ^^

[Edit] Oh, oh oh.. One more thing I came to think about.. What ever happend to all those other Witchers? I mean you slip up after the start to search for clues and track down the ones responsible for the attack.. yet Triss is the only one you meet after that through the game and she is not even a Witcher, did the others get lost on the way or something? Sure they would try to pick up clues at diffrent points of the world but surely at least one of them would have figured out where the real action was going down and decided to come back? Or are they too silly for that?

Well just finished the game myself. Loved it!

As far as alvin = grandmaster goes i'd have to say that's most probable. But the big question there remains, why did he become so? Did his powers prove too much for him, thus corrupting his personality? The salamanders hunted and scared him as a child, how could he have joined them?

Who is the assassin in the end? He looks a bit like Geralt, but how can that be? And why is he trying to kill the King?

Where did all the other witchers go? In the beginning they all said to spread out and look for clues, but except for Triss you don't hear from or see them again. Why?

What about Geralt and Triss? My ending (pro elf) said the witcher left, to where no-one knows.

Lots of open questions  :-\

Well, i ended his life, so i doubt it. As for the grandmaster, yes he could be alvin, but wouldnt he remember geralt even if he went back time..
Maybe what you told and learned him made him what he is.. and about being a clone, i doubt it, because of what the wild hunt says.. he talked about you being his perfect tool, his champion, leaving death and destruction behind oneself..

In one of the encounters on the icy plains (wonderful sequence btw), Alvin / Grandmaster repeats the very advise you gave him back in the fields (nice twist), while you were looking for the mirror shards... Geralt had the option to tell him to see his visions as a gift and not as a curse and to use them to do just in the world, it's just a big wtf-moment. Especially after Triss was implying, back in the throne room, that he even could teleport back in time. Remarkable as well, after all this time he never seems to have let go of the amulet, exactly as he was told. And seeing how he tried to make you see the things as they will be, because of his vision, imho shows that he somewhat cared to have Geralt understand - maybe even join his cause. I guess some of the hatred for the nonhumans, was also shown, when Alvin was eagerly playing "kill the elf" with the other childs and enjoying it a lot, as well maybe because he was held hostage by them. (At least in my pro-elf approach).

Other question? Did that female elf "Torviel" (or what here name was) survive? Was somewhat confused that she was suddenly gone, after the barricade action.
