PM I'm having trouble reconciling all parts of this riddle, but I'll take a stab at it.
Fisstech? The package of fisstech that Haren Brogg wants delivered to Coleman, which is confiscated by Jethro at the jail?

I thought as much for my second guess... here goes...
I don't remember exactly what it was called but its that little note thing or handout found in Kaer Morhen which
was lying around from old days when the castle was stormed and Witchers were killed. Could that little note be it?

It's also found in Triss' house and can be bought (though why would you want to) from some of the booksellers. It's Monstrum, or a Portrayal of Witchers, and yep, that's the answer.

I know. And I thought about using the word "libel," but most of the people who are playing aren't native English speakers, and I thought that the word "libel" might be too esoteric. Hard to satisfy them AND you, y'know? I guess in the future I'll use the right word and those who don't know it can look it up.

Wow, I can't believe how foggy my memory is... I don't know the names of half the books in the game, though descriptions seem to stick.
Ok, here's the next riddle...
Born of magic, an unlikely womb
I am pretty useful in a dark tomb
I quake from forms I see alone
with a sight so unlike your own
No matter my shape, the people know
the fear in their eyes really does show

It's just a by-product of my inspiration... but keep trying please. ;)
If no-one guesses this after a time, I had the idea to elongate the riddle with additional clues so don't worry.
