PM could someone PLEASE help with my problem, the Lady of the lake is ment to give me the sliver sword of aerondight but instead gives me some of my witcher abilitys back in chapter 4 of the game. have I missed something because my guide only mentions that you get only the sword. PLEASE HELP or there is a good chance I will put my fist through my screen LOL, thanks

*WARNING: SPOILER*
She gives you Areondight just after slaying Dagon and his crew at the end of the act. But the quest is connected to another one regarding Berengar " The paths of Destiny" is called.
So maybe it's a bug or you have not enough progress in that quest. See Witcher Wiki for more details http://witcher.wikia...ths_of_Destiny.

on chapter 4 the lady of the lake is giving me witcher abilitys and not the sword of aerondight,does anyone know why why why FOR F@UCK SAKE. thanks. by the way I have chosen to do her bidding and not the fish people or the farmers for thoughs of you that thought I wasnt picking her quest

Yep, that's it! If you choose to help the... hu... Voldanoi priest or Julian, you won't get Aerondight, but others items.
If you decide to help the Lady of the Lake, she will give you the sword after your fight against Dagon.

She gives him Aerondight because Geralt managed to bring peace to the humans of Murky Waters and the Vodjanoi. And the Lady even accolades him with the sword :o

You won't get it immediately, you must slay Dagon, tell that to the Lady after which she will give you a bonus talent. Then go back to the main land and complete the remaining main quest there to get the sword.

that's a timing thing, if you had already completed the other quests before fighting Dagon, you just tell her then proceed to the altar, she'll meet you there :peace:
