PM I am helping zoltan with the Refugees.
When I enter the hospital. Zoltan in talking to em.
Then Shani wil talk to me and after that the only thing I see is a black screen.
I can do anyting.

This is very odd :hmmm: Have you tried to use an other save game?
I can see what you see not, Visions milky then eyes rot.
When you turn they will be gone, whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be, shadows move where light should be.

i played 3 games whereby my choices gave me this quest also "saving the refugees"...i also had the issue where it seems after talking to Shani the screen goes black (almost like the game gets stuck trying to play the rest of the cutscene or cannot go back into a gameplay mode)......i always had to restart the game and pick up from my last save
it only seems to happen with this particular quest...and after restarting from an earlier save it then works fine.....

I used to get this A LOT. I did two things when this happen.
1) Move all save games except your most recent into a back-up directory,
2) Find the witcher.ini and where it says DebugMode=1, edit the 1 into a 0. There is no reason for DebugMode to be active in The Witcher, turn it off to reduce lag and fix little issues like this. Worked for me! Cheers!

For those wondering, Debug Mode is useless in The Witcher because there is no console like the other games which use the Aurora/Electron Engine (Neverwinter Night Series, Kotor Series, etc.).
Definition:
Debug mode usually lets the user change many aspects of the game if you know how to use them properly. On the other hand debug mode is a mode which the programmer or the developer of the game can control and change many things and see many details to debug his game, as the it's name(debug mode) also says. By a little search I found some other definitions:
Debug mode is a development tool which typically allows you to break the rules of the game in any number of ways and to give technical information that is of benefit to the programmers working on the games.
In short, it verifies scripts unnecessarily and allows you alter a game world via a console.
