I am having alot of trouble patching this game, my game is TWEE version 1.4.5.1304 I am trying to patch it to version 1.5 or above and it will not do it. Says it cannot find the version of the game thus it cannot patch it, please help me! I am running Windows XP SP3

So why are there illegal trainers and bits for 1.5.1304 and 1.5? how do I get the game to that level? I dont use trainers, good old fashioned fighting for every level is what I use but was just wondering...

1.5.1304 is a misnomer. In this case, it's an excusable mistake, because the version numbering is confusing.

1.4.5.1304 is the same as 1.5. There is no 1.5.1304.

greetings.

i just upgraded vanilla witcher back into the EE, after reinstalling the game onto a new OS.

its patched to 1.5. im using windows xp pro. everything appears to have installed properly. (1.4 --> 1.5)

the very minor issue in question:

i am experiencing choppy music playback and then no sound/comes and goes during the beginning cutscene, also heard it during the "map" cutscene, just before chapter 1, after leo's funeral, just before geralt reaches the outskirts of vizima.

i searched through most of the topics and didnt see one quite describing what's going on w/ my particular install. this never used to happenen to me. same computer, different OS.

all my drivers are up to date, as far as i can tell.

any help is appreciated, and i'm very sorry if the answer is indeed lurking somewhere.

may melitele be with you...


edit= i have april '11 version of direct x 9, contrary to what the pc wizard .txt says.

still bad sound.

Not all extra adventures have voiceovers . It has been a while since i last played the extra ones and i can`t remember right now which ones have the voiceovers but memory dictates that only 2 have voices but can`t be absolutely sure .
