Before you drop the skull in the crypt drink a swallow and be ready with fast steel , have grindstone applied spector oil is better and igni sign selected. You may need to hit pause and select the fast and igni after the fight starts. Hit him with igni and whack away , a first igni shot will take quite abit of health(vitatily) off him and others. Igni again when stamina builds and whack away then arrd and whack. Oh after the first igni you may pause and drink a water to increase stamina faster or tawny owl with swallow before but I think that is a waste of owl lol.

you can also save that encounter for relatively late in the act when you have more experience (i.e. are at a higher level and therefore hitting harder) .. just be careful to do it before you tell the reverend that you know all about the beast ... as that is what triggers the end of the chapter :peace:

To kill Leo, hmmm... Fast Style is the only thing effective as he's a fast, slimy little piece of witchers sword work. Forget oils and potions,
just make sure to Click as to link the chain of attack. That's all... works on hard level too. :peace:

Is it the real Leo, btw, or just an illusion conjured by the King of the Wild Hunt? If it's real, I'm kinda glad he died. "bohoo, I managed to get myself killed, it's YOUR fault :("
He's certainly saying what the KotWH wants him to say. Whether it's a real Leo who's being compelled, an illusion summoned by the KotWH, or a real Leo who honestly believes that, well, that's one of the questions the game leaves open.
What Leo says in Act I, though, matches up with what the KotWH says during the Epilogue, and it matches pretty closely. If it's not an illusion, then I think Leo has been compelled or brainwashed; the real Leo wasn't such a crybaby and must have heard "Leo, no!" as he was being shot.
The KotWH seems to want to demoralize Geralt. Is this just general malice? Does he want to weaken Geralt for some reason? Again, we don't know; this is one of the questions the game leaves open. I hope TW2 clears up a lot of things!
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.
I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.
I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

The King of the Wild Hunt caught Leo's soul before he could reach it's final destiantion where all souls rest in peace... whereevet it is. Now Leo is a member of the Wild Hunt, a ghostly troop of lost souls guided by the King.
When the King and his Wild Hunt appears it's always a bad omen, a harbinger of war, despair and destuction. And the King always has something to with destiny. I think that's the reason why he is after Geralt. In the novels he is after Ciri, the child of Elder Blood. But I don't know his intension… don't know yet ;)
I'm amazed that the King of the Wild Hunt died because he is a mighty individuum. Javed and de Aldersberg are peanuts in comparison the King. At least that's the impression I got when I read

I can see what you see not, Visions milky then eyes rot.
When you turn they will be gone, whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be, shadows move where light should be.
Out of darkness, out of mind – cast down into the Halls of the Blind…
