[ACT II] Stuck in the sewers

I wasn't sure whether to put this in the tech or quests forums, so I put it in both.

I went to the sewers in Act II to complete the "Finders Keepers" quest. I've found the items, and the journal tells me to return to complete the quest. The entrance that I used to get to the sewers is blocked. There is a door closed over it, but one which is not interactive. The map directions are telling me to go to this spot, and it is the same door I entered through and used to leave the first time I was in teh sewers.

Am I missing something? Is this a bug? Is there any other way to get out of the sewers?

I've tried reloading and meditating, neither resolving the problem.

Thanks.

it does sound like a bug ... i saw your question on the wiki. It is absolutely supposed to be the same door you came in through.

the door out of the sewer looks sort of dark blue-black with a diamond pattern in relief ... i've attached an image for you  :peace:

Yeah that's the door, but I can't click on it.

I have the Enhanced Edition, I'll check if there's a newer patch for it.

I tried loading an older game before I entered the sewer, and then entering the sewers again: same problem

Is there any console commands to teleport to a location?

Not sure if this is the solution, but have you got a key from Siegfired after your first time in the sewers? If not, you might have to go back to very early in Act II and talk with Siegfried.

I thought I was stuck there, too.
I ended up finding a Place of Power in the Sewers and Teleported back to Kalkstein's.
Wander around for areas that are not unlocked on your location map.
There is a Transfer Point, kind of near the C*ckatrice Lair.
But, if you've already told Kalstein that the Tower is open,
I don't think you'll be able to use this because you give the Teleporting Crystal back.
Hope this helps!!!!

I too am stuck in the sewers! All the doors gates are locked, and I even have two keys on me. The only other place I can go is the crypt, but there's no where else to go from there other than back to the sewers. Can someone please provide a link to the sewer map telling me exactly where I need to go? I've already parted ways with the other guy after killing the cockrice.

You've just finished killing the cockatrice? After it's dead, Siegfried escorts you to the exit and shows you where it is,

The exit should be right there. There's a good map of the sewers here; the exit to the Temple Quarter of Vizima is marked as #14.

I'm an idiot! I didn't see the actual door, I only saw the gated one and didn't realize the door was off to the side. Must of have my brightness turned down too low LOL.

The game can be pretty dark, it's true. Has your Geralt taken a Cat potion, or is he relying just on Siegfried's torch? There are a lot of expeditions to caves, crypts, and sewers ahead of you, so you'll want to learn to make the Cat potion, if you haven't already.

In the future when you're looking for something, hold down the Alt key (or turn Object Names on in the Options menu), and you'll see the names of everything you can interact with. It can help a lot in finding stuff in those dark areas.
