Hey there!  :)

Towards the end of the game, there is a cutscene with the Grand Master leaving the order quartes and a messenger arriving with news. At this point, the GM instructs a big mutant to dispose of Geralt. Thing is, as far as I can remember, I finished the game without ever meating such creature. Did I miss him, was I supposed to trigger his appearance in some way?

there's no special encounter with that particular mutant, you missed nothing like that  :peace:

Eventually I forgot about him and played till the end... but after I saw it I was expecting that thing jumping me from around every corner, specially near the quarters... kind of a letdown. Thanks!  :)
