Fixed link to German wiki
but in true Internet fashion, the surprise was beaten to the surprise by the surprise which was originally going to be the surprise, surprising us before the surprise could become surprise we were supposed to be surprised by.

C'mon people! ... i'm available if you'd like some help or advice and you can use anything and everything on the english witcher wiki (or the polish one!) as a basis for your articles (or not! -- your choice)

yes... Gamewidow is right, the English Wiki is very comprehensive and gives you lot of inspiration do compose your own articles in the Wiki of your country  8)

Dansk and Deutsch... both start with a D and Denmark is our neighbour country, nevertheless we speak different languages  ;D Hence you find the Deutsche Hexer Wiki here http://hexer.wikia.com/wiki/Hauptseite

Well, I have a question. Is it possible to take(to rip) pictures(of swords, amulets, books etc...) directly from Witcher: Versus and place them on Witcher wiki? I suppose there is some copyright issue, so I just wanted to ask...
Because there are some pictures of swords(etc.) on witcher wiki, but they are most likely from original game and not complete. :hmmm:

for the english wiki, i'm the one who took most of those screenshots, so if you had read my user page, you'd see that it says it's fine to do that (near as we can tell, CDP is well aware of the images we have on the wiki) and if your images are better, but all means, add them  :peace:

Just wanted to say thanks to Game Widow for the English Witcher Wiki. I find myself using Witcher Wiki usually at least once a day, either for oil/bomb/potion composition to avoid a costly book or just want to look up what sex cards I can get in an ACT, or a branch of the story that I missed in a previous run thru.

I never thought that this game will become so popular! Usually its the opposite - when a game is good, and makes you think (THINK!!) its... not that popular at all (I call it the "EA effect" - the more stupid and unoriginal is a game, the more popular it gets). But here we have a game from NOWHERE (the Kingdom of Poland is far away for you westerners, isn't it?) but still its admired, and played... how is that?

I know how - BECOUSE IT IS THE BEST RPG GAME EVER!! And I am not joking - that is my honest opinion.
"Dobra Matko, źródło łaski,
ocal naszych synów z wojny,
Uchroń ich od strzał i mieczy,
Niechaj ujrzą dzień spokojny..."

Calling all wiki-philes ! :)

i am trying to get the basic game information into as many languages as i can. I have access to the following language wikis but not the language expertise to translate stuff properly -- and i do NOT trust google ;):

Česky • Español • Lietuvių • Magyar • Polski • Русский • Slovenčina • Српски/Srpski • Suomi

anyone with expertise in any of these languages would be greatly appreciated to help with wiki game data -- i know the Polish community has worked hard on the Witcher books information, but the game stuff is kind of sparse. I've begun to add stuff in all these languages but often all i have are google translations or just english text. i need help translating that information.

if you don't want to actually do stuff on the wiki, you could still help me by supplying me with the appropriate translations for a few regularly used terms like:

quest(s)
weapon(s)
heavy weapon(s)
short weapon(s)
swords
temporary rune stone(s)
rune(s)
meterorite piece(s)
herb(s)
monster part(s)
minerals(s)
ingredients(s)
unique ingredient(s) / special ingredient(s)
price
buy
sell

see also
for more information

or look at the wikis and start contributing :) cheers!  :peace:

Alright, I've watched The whole "The Hexer" Tv Series...although the translation was a bit bad
but I'll fill in the episodes that aren't

I'll help in for the Suomi for the witcher guide as soon as possible.

I decided to help building wiki.
Although I don't feel strong enough to search for info and fill the pages, I will aid Game Widow in editing Polish part. Simply - I'll try to search and translate any English or incorrect parts in Polish part.

By the way, it is quite amazing, when I see Game Widow, who doesn't know Polish, improving this part. Great cheers from me  to You for that.

I started with Axii (rozwój postaci) if You want to check how it looks :)

Soon holidays, so possible that I'll find much more time to do that ;)
