I am at the old manor and Rayla tells "go no futher". She won't fight. I fought a few muntants going up the hill but now I'm stuck. Did I forget to do something?

This sound like a bug.
Have you try ed reloading a earlier save you should get a cut Sean with Javas  as you reach that part of the story.

It does't apppear like a bug. Rayla's a muntant, but has a green "talk to band". She says 'go no futher and then says she's been reborn and is the greatest swordswoman" Javas just stands there and does nothing. He's red but won"t fight. But I think your right. I'll try going back to an earlier save. Thanks for the advise!

I never came to such an odd situation o_O strange...
Though Javed  is red circled you don't get the chance to fight him. Actually he introduces you to the new Rayla and she attacks Geralt whereas Javed buzzes off.

This also came to mind make sure that you did all the quest be for you needed to go to the Old Manor.
That mite be the reason why by now you should have Raven's Armour.

This happened to me also and some where in the forums it was said it's a bug. (page 3 in this act)  I upgraded  DX 9c to a newer version and that was the only thing i did different when the bug appeared. I played and completed the game many times before, going back to previous saves didn't help. I had to uninstall the game and reinstall. Delete all saves and start over.

I have this problem also. Also, in the beginning of the Old Manor, when you first enter the area, there's three of De-wett's aids, but no De'wett, which may be a problem. As you get closer to the area, where the cut-screeen is supposed to start, Azar Javed just appears and walks a little, then turns around and sits there. The mutant rayla does nothing. I tried  uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but it did nothing. I tried reloading into the swamp cemetary again, but nothing happened. After fighting the striga, I don't know if you're suposed to see the king, but it doesn't let me go to him.

Ok, I've tried everything, and nothing is working. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but keeping my game saved, and nothing. I've tried reloading it from a previous save, going into the place, and going back out into the cemetary, and then going back again into the old manor, and nothing. Here's the deal. I saved the princess from the striga, and talked to velerad outside, who said I should go into the old manor. I went back into old vizima and created Raven's armor, then came into the swamp cemetary and went to the old manor area, then it all happened. I think something was supposed to happen during this time, but nothing did. Please, if anyone knows what happened, or what should have happened, please let me know. Otherwise, I don't think I'll be finishing the game anytime soon. Also, the new patch takes me forever to download, like seven hours. So, is there anywhere else to download it from?

did you pick up Ostrit's journal after you killed the striga ? that's the only thing i can think of that might be connected to whether or not de Wett appears  :peace:

Could be because Ostrit's journal contains information how to reactivate the Striga's curse and maybe who did it once again on Adda. When you enter the Old Manor area de Wett refers to this subject who revived the curse.
This is a vage chance though I can't imagine that this book triggers the appearance of the de Wett and the correct procedure of the game because you get the main instruction from Velerad: go to Old Manor...
