You certainly will....denying somone CE would be a sin....wondering what wud be the bonuses attached to CE around the World... for example at certain stores in Poland fans get Andrzej Sapkowski's short stories dealing about Geralt as well as a medallion (lil one ,which ya attach to your keys) and few other things.

4 more days...hmmm How about Australia where all the games and movies are always delayed.... manurehole!! We re getting the Witcher on 2nd of November!! and at some stores its avaiable from 4th onwards!!!......Thats hell unfair!

Coming back to the topic.......I would like to know what are ladies thoughts about Geralt - after all he is a softhearted badass, handsome in his ugliness (??).......u know he is not a common hero for sure....

Hi everyone!
I was surprised to read that most men wouldn't like to play female character. It happens that I used to play WoW for some time and met quite a lot men playing female chars. Well, I have to admit that they tend to choose beautiful elven women- that explains their motives ;)
About the Witcher- it's really fantastic (however some bugs can be irritating). It's a pitty that most of girls I know don't play computer games. They usually think it is silly to play and men are quite childish (they say "man are childish" cause they forget that girls can be players too).

Well not all Men are like what you said some play a female role  justt becuase it diffent and yea there are guys and I know about guys that play as females to get free stuff seen it a lot way back when in my UO Days lol
My wife plays WoW as well and she run into a few of them lol

Not so long ago I used to think that every female character on Guildwars was played by a female....I quickly realised that I was wrong. Unfortunately there are ppl around who play as a female and are male in real life yet the still act like girls just to get more attention and you know persuade others more easily.... Not nice....dont tolerate ppl like thet!

Have you ever heard of roleplaying? Playing a musculous killing machine may be fun for some time, but trying something different and doing it well is what I call a real achievement.

Actually, I never played TES IV: The Oblivion as a male character, since when I have to spend hours and hours watching my ingame characters butt, I prefer it to be a female butt. ;)

Now call me a chauvinistic pig or something, but that is just how it is and many friends of mine told me the same. :P

Now are we talking about female toon butts or RL femails butt lol maybe dose not matter still all good in my book  ;)
But all kidding aside  yea I can see it rping  even when playing a female when one is a male
have done it myself.
What Im talking about more  is the ones that try to play a female  just to get stuff with out  puting any work into it but that a matter of ones point of view one would think. ;)

I checked with forum statistics....male to femail ratio : 15.5 : 1...I wouldn't mind more girls in the forum  ;D

I didnt deny that playing as a female is fun but acting like a girl and saying you are a girl whle you are not is lame! Cmon in game butts are nothing compared to RL butts. Watching yer Oblivion character butt for hours...........no comments. Might be something to it I guess in RL you cant see that butt move as they swing a sword or cast a spell to cause some commotion.

lol, I mean I prefer the 3rd person view in Oblivion and you see your chartacter there from behind. I did not play it with my eyes glued to the screen at the character's butt area.  ::)

Oh, and real life butts are much more appealing, of course. ;D

Well, while RPing a female CHARACTER is fine, I agree that a guy pretending he is a female PLAYER is a jerk. ;)

Yeah RL has more interaction options and as someone once said THE GRAPHICS PWNS!!! Its like DirectX 20!!!! hahah yeah yeah I get ya its ok we all do it.....I mean play as female characters... that reminds me.....playing as Triss in the Witcher and swap roles with Gerlat hmhmmm

I also met my wife online.  It worked for us, but it's not for everyone.  Trust, honesty and mutual respect is what is needed in any online relationship (offline too for that matter!)

We are getting too 'old' to play MMORPG (too much time commitment, too many juvenile delinquents).  This game is a breath of fresh air  :)

Well I've always played only female characters (am a female myself  ;D). Cant really tell a reason why I havent playd males. When I have the opportunety to choose I choose female.
But as far as I care, I dont mind people playing as females even though they are men or the other way around.

I've tried playing females in RPGs. I can pull it off in CRPGs, but not tabletop. My characters in tabletop are based around different aspects of my own personality, and it's hard to imagine myself with boobs.

I don't mind having a female character in a computer game since you don't have to do any real roleplaying, (also I find it's generally more interesting to look at the back of them for some reason) As long as she hasn't got a crappy personality I'm fine playing her... I mean... playing as her.

I've seen a good many males posing as females in WoW. It happens so often that the acronym "GIRL = Guy In Real Life" sprang from somewhere.
A lot of them do it for, uhm, "nefarious" reasons, it's pretty creepy actually.


And everyone knows there are no girls on the internets.

All kidding a side of someone want to play a female  in a game  that cool as long it for the right resions
not for the creey resoin I have seen in the pass.

But as for me I dont do MMORPG anymore  to me there more chating then playing the game. 

@Candew I dont think we goten to old for MMORPG I think it that we want somthing more then just your everyday MMORPG.

Now there a idea have a MMORPG where you have to be the age over 35 to join lol we can call it the old gamer coner  ;D
