Well this is frustrating. I've gone back to an earlier save twice and have redone the quest, but continue to end up with the same result. Has no one else had this problem with the Armor quest, or did I get a special bug exclusive to my gameplay?

I did the armor quest just last night, and the Elven minstrel's notes were exactly where they should be. I don't know if it's better to know that it's NOT a general bug or better to think that it is, but there you have it. I hope you can find a work-around!
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.
I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.
I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

Thanks Corylea. I don't know what to think at this point, it's frustrating. I may just go ahead and continue the quest, gathering all the required items, and then go back to the Blacksmith and see what happens at that point. I have this sinking ship feeling that seeing as how the quest log will not update to indicate that I have the notes, the quest will not be completed. Darn, I really wanted my Witcher to get get himself some new finery too, he deserves it. :D

that's a very good point that Planewalker makes there ... if no one has told you what to get, then perhaps that is the problem ...
alternatively, there is a save game editor (check the Community adventures & mods section of the Djinni Adventure Editor forum) and you could simply add that one item to your inventory and keep going, as it's so late in the game.
typically i think people should suck it up when things go wrong and restart .. but there are limits :) ... so don't despair, there are options of last resort if you just can't get the notes the conventional way.

Game Widow, Corylea, and Planewalker, I am thrilled to report that despite this seemingly glitch, I collected everything, returned to the Blacksmith, and as we speak he is busily working away at my new armor. My Witcher shall soon be dressed to the nines. We're both excited. ;D Thanks all for your input!

Hi there..
I'm kinda confused with armor stats here. In the game guide that come with the Enhanced Edition, the order seems to have the best of everything 10% Vital and Endurance Regen, but it's actually different from wiki
http://witcher.wikia...Raven.27s_Armor
So What exactly is it?

What does the guide say and for which armor?
The ones on the wiki are the correct values.

Yep, the wikia takes all values from ingame information.
