Thanks Corylea. I don't know what to think at this point, it's frustrating. I may just go ahead and continue the quest, gathering all the required items, and then go back to the Blacksmith and see what happens at that point. I have this sinking ship feeling that seeing as how the quest log will not update to indicate that I have the notes, the quest will not be completed. Darn, I really wanted my Witcher to get get himself some new finery too, he deserves it. :D

alternatively, there is a save game editor (check the Community adventures & mods section of the Djinni Adventure Editor forum) and you could simply add that one item to your inventory and keep going, as it's so late in the game.
typically i think people should suck it up when things go wrong and restart .. but there are limits :) ... so don't despair, there are options of last resort if you just can't get the notes the conventional way.

I'm kinda confused with armor stats here. In the game guide that come with the Enhanced Edition, the order seems to have the best of everything 10% Vital and Endurance Regen, but it's actually different from wiki
So What exactly is it?

The ones on the wiki are the correct values.
26.10.2008 @ 00:31 #70
Armor + 7%
Endurance and Vitality +5%
Damaged Received -20%
Endurance and Vitality Regeneration +5%
Damage Received -30%
Damage Inflicted +10%
Endurance and Vitality Regeneration +10%
Obviously the Order is the best according to the guide that come with EE... so All the armor is actually use the wikia value?
